Susan MacDonald is an award-winning textile artist whose quilts and wall hangings have appeared for the last twenty five years in invitational exhibitions in Canada, the United States, Britain and France, on CD covers, in national publications, and in Canadian, European and American collections.

Noted as a colourist, she employs unexpected combinations of fabrics in her work. She is fascinated by geometric, abstract designs, and fabric is her chosen medium.

Since 1990 Susan has also been producing a line of Wearable Art jackets, a natural evolution from her innovative quilts and wall hangings.

Crisply integrated fabrics and textures, unusual stitchery techniques, and unique colour combinations distinguish Susan MacDonald's designs.
